HISTORY

Flying Trout Wines is a result of winemaker Ashley Trout's annual winemaking ventures in Mendoza, Argentina from February until May and in Walla Walla, Washington during the remainder of the year.

Our first, albeit small, vintage, was in 2004 when we produced the "Deep River Red" blend, comprised of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

A boutique winery, Flying Trout Wines is currently producing fewer than 1,000 cases a year. Most releases are fewer than 100 cases.

From sensuous Syrahs out of Walla Walla to classic Malbecs in Mendoza, Flying Trout Wines aims to bring you a little bit of the best of the world and nothing else.
